Woodstone Residence

The Woodstone Residence provides multidisciplinary, specialized care for young people suffering from anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa or eating disorder not otherwise specified. People who need more intensive treatment than community-based services can offer or further therapeutic support following a hospital stay may come to Woodstone for comprehensive, evidence-informed care that encourages them to rediscover and rebuild their healthy selves, connect with their families and communities, and begin or continue an individualized process of recovery.

Bodega Ridge

Nestled on 22 acres of pristine coastal country with breathtaking views. 7 beautiful log cabins in a private and serene setting. Place for couples, outdoor enthusiasts and families alike. Direct trail access to the famous Bodega Ridge hiking trail.
Host of many corporate, yoga, spiritual and health retreats, weddings, events and reunions.

Galiano Trails Society

THE GALIANO TRAILS SOCIETY
is an independent, volunteer-based non-profit organization dedicated to:
*Planning, building and providing access to trails on Galiano Island.
*Collaborating with and assisting other groups interested in trails.
*Expanding the existing trail network on Galiano as guided by the Galiano Parks and Recreation Commission’s Trail Net work Plan.
*Forging links with wider-area trail networks in the Gulf Islands and beyond, e.g. the Trans-Canada Trail, CRD regional parks, BC Trails...

Independant flameworking glassblower Kathleen Buckley, living and working on Galiano Island. Full range of custom and production glassworks, made with high quality pyrex borosilicate glass. Cre8 Glassworks is available at selected boutiques across Canada, and through the Galiano Twirly Tree Shop in the Manzanita Mall. I am always available for custom work, as well. Coro Galiano Choir

Established in 2004, Coro Galiano is a Community Choir on Galiano Island, BC, Canada. The purpose of the choir is to sing serious choral music at a high standard while at the same time encouraging choir members to expand their musical horizons in a friendly and supportive ensemble.

FELDENKRAIS® WITH JAMIE VAN DAM

Jamie van Dam is a graduate of the 2004 - 2007 Victoria Feldenkrais Teacher Training where he studied with many well respected Feldenkrais trainers; Jeff Haller, Jerry Karzen, Beatriz Walterspiel, Alan Questel, Katrin Smithback and Bonnie Humiston. Under their guidance and insight he studied many topics ranging from the nature of awareness to functional, develpomental & structural movement to the self image and its development to the principles and strategies of learning to self -use and be connceted to others through awareness, etc...

Crystal Mountain - A Society for Eastern & Western Studies

Crystal Mountain is a non-denominational society based in British Columbia, Canada, founded by students of Venerable Namgyal Rinpoche -- a Westerner trained in the Theravada and Vajrayana Buddhist traditions; to promote the development of the wholesome, clear, interested mind through study, meditation, and compassionate work. Membership is open to anyone in sympathy with these objectives. While recognizing the value and necessity of preserving and supporting traditional forms, our particular concern is with furthering the development of a Western expression of Buddha Dharma.
